“The pen is mightier than the sword”

The well-researched, written word is of paramount importance in a lawyer’s life because it, inter alia, gives life to a legal argument or opinion. Thus, cultivating the skills of legal research and legal writing is undoubtedly important for a law student. The Legal Boffin was born out of a need to cultivate these skills, and to create a space for law students to explore and develop their legal research and legal writing skills.

Dr. N L Saji Kumar is an assistant professor at the Government Law College, Kozhikode. He was awarded his doctorate from Berhampur University, Odisha. He has an MA in Criminology and Police Science, MBA in Information Technology and Human Resource Development, ML in International Law and Constitutional Law, and an LL.M in Administrative Law. He has authored a treatise on Cyber Laws and is now a cyber law expert. He has been endowed with “Prof. NR Madhavamenon Excellence in Legal Research Award” consecutively for three years (2015-2018).

She has also worked as a technical content writer with Triskyl Technologies, Chennai and is an academic content writer.

She is currently the coordinator of the Editorial Board and is also affiliated with Expectation Walkers( a youth NGO) as Nation Incharge and Legal Bookkeeper and content writer, Chief Legal Advisor at EW Sells (India’s First Online Charity Store), student member at Lakshya Trust for LGBTQI+, presented research paper at 7th National Students Conference (with ICRC and UNHCR) participated in Intra-Moot competitions, student convener and coordinator for Team Buddy- GLCK Law fests, Management Fests, Anchor for seminars conducted by GLCK, ,was a Content Researcher for Vaad-Vivaad Organisation, love martial arts, music, avid traveller, reader and writer.

He took a voluntarily retirement from CISF to take up the role of Environmental, Safety Manager at Contech Group of Companies, Dubai, UAE.
